HAIR | Have you heard about hair tapestry?
10:00I can't wait for summer. Not for the heat and humidity. But for the summer trends coming out of the winter woodwork. Pastel nails - check. Floral dresses - check. A big hair cut - not yet, but maybe (if I can get over the thought of cutting over 30cm of carefully grown hair off!).
But have you heard the latest summer festival trend sweeping across the UK? Hair TAPESTRY!
Some of you may be sat there a bit bewildered and confused. Basically, instead of those long wound hair wrap braid things (here - look at pictures so we're on the same page), they're shorter, wider pieces of art in your hair.
Still a bit confused? "How does that even work?" Well, LOOK!
Does anyone else find that so unbelievably cool??!?!?
Now, you may be thinking - who would even think up something like that? The answer is the AMAZING Alex Brownsell from BLEACH in Dalston, London. Alex was partly responsible for the comeback of dip dye-ing and crazy hair colours. (Read an interview from Mid 2013 here) ((Bleach also have a range of products in Boots that I've heard some amazing stuff about)) (((How did this go from hair tapestry to me proclaiming my love for a place I've never been to before)))
back on topic...
Basically, the tapestries are created by threading your hair through a needlepoint frame, and then thread, basically, threaded through your hair to make a colourful arty pattern. WANT.
Do you think you'd want to try a hair tapestry? Or is that just 'too far out' for you?
xx
I feel like I should add this is 100% not sponsored by BLEACH. I've just followed them on insty/twitter for a few years now and LOVE what they do to hair! Check them out here: twitter | instagram

This is so cool! I really love summer hair trends, I'd definitely want to give this a go when the weather gets warmer. Wonder how long it lasts.
